Obituary
It is with sadness that the family of Ken “Happy” M. St Croix announce his passing, which occurred after a brief illness, on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at his residence with his wife by his side. Born November 26, 1956, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Patricia (Daigle) Ste Croix.
Ken is survived by the love of his life and soul mate of 38 years, Dorothy (Hodgin) St Croix. He is also remembered by his children; Nicholas Armstrong, Theshea Rowe (Jason Mills) and Shannon Rowe (Tarek), along with his 2 brothers; Randy Ste Croix (Dawn), Jim Ste Croix (Kim) and his sister Marie Mcgouey (Tom).
Ken will be forever missed by his 2 grandchildren; Nelson Torres and especially Stephen Rowe who he adored like a son and with ‘happy kisses’, along with several nieces and nephews.
Throughout his working career, Ken was employed with Wyndham and later joined the Saint John Regional Hospital working in the EVS Department. In his spare time, Ken shared a love for Alpine, enjoyed listening to Metallica, watching the Philadelphia Flyers and playing video games. Ken was a very giving individual and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.
Our family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to the neighbours of Elizabeth Court, in particular Derek and Lainie MacWilliams, as well as the staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital, in particular Dr. Catherine Becker for the care and compassion shown towards Ken and our family.
In addition to his parents, Ken is predeceased by his stepfather Andrew Arsenault and best friend Si Simonds.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A celebration of life will be held at Holy Redeemer Parish Church Hall, 316 Somerset Street, Saint John, on Friday, July 29th, 2022 between 2-4 pm.
