Obituary
Ms. Karen Koldyk of Lethbridge, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the age of 62 years.
Karen is survived by her parents Kay and Henry Koldyk of Lethbridge; sister Janet (Chris) Bice of Coalhurst; terribly missed by her dear friends Walter Hornby, Cathryn Brewer and forever remembered by her many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Throughout Karen’s life, she was always looking for adventure and willing to try new things. She did everything from raising and showing dogs in the show ring, to having a career as computer systems support person. She had strong computer and analytical skills and she loved when she was able to write manuals and instruct coworkers with programs they had to use. She lived in the United States for a period of time, and it was there that she became involved with playing Bridge and attending many tournaments. Karen loved to read, and she especially enjoyed online games. Of course, one of Karen’s favorite things to do was shop. She liked to tell her family and friends all about her favorite purchases and what was so special about the items.
Our hearts are so broken at the loss of our dear Karen. She will be loved and missed forever.
A private family gathering will be held for Karen.
