HUDSON, Jeannette (nee Lanthier)
Passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday August 20th, 2022 at the age of 91. Daughter of the late Wilfred Antoine Lanthier and Emelia Lanthier (nee Gervais). Mother of Estelle Nicholls and the late Michel Payant. She is predeceased by her siblings Patricia Belanger, Jacqueline Kaman; (Jeno), Anita Ouellette, George Lanthier, Gerald Lanthier (Estelle), Laurence Lanthier (Kay), Jean-Claude Lanthier (Ada) and Marcel Lanthier (Georgette). Survived by Grandchildren; Leanne Neal (Martin), Rebecca Bahr, Denise Bronson, Michael Payant and her many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to the Nursing staff, PSW and Doctors at Carveth Nursing Home in Gananoque who showed kindness and cared for my mother during the last 4 years she resided there. Thank you to the staff at KGH for the care they provided my mother in her final days.
Jeannette lived a full life and worked as a PSW for the Red Cross for many years. Jeannette loved singing and friends and family will remember mom from her favourite song that she loved to sing » La Vie En Rose». She was a member of the Brighton Legion where she had many friends. She moved to Gananoque in 2012 where she resided with her daughter and eventually she spent the last 4 years in Carveth Nursing home.
Cremation arrangements have been made with the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588). There will be no service. If desired memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
