Obituary of James Bonthron McCalluh Smith
With sad hearts we wish to announce the passing of James (Jim) Smith, On November 14th 2022 peacefully at Peterborough Regional health Centre after a short battle with cancer. Jim retired from Budd Automotive after 35 years. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion. As well an avid golfer and spent countless hours fishing from his boat on the Trent Server Waterway from his retirement community of Lakefield. Jim was predeceased by his wife Isabel (nee Taylor). Jim is survived by his wife Sadie Baillie, son Jamie (Jody) and daughter Jaclyn. He was known to his six grandchildren Ashley, Madison, Jasper, Cody, Jace, and David and several great – grandchildren as “Grampa Jim”. Cremation has taken place. No service per his request.
