HILL, James Thomas – Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Institute on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022, in his 102nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marjorie Myrtle Hill (Murray) (2000), his son Murray Hill (1992), and a daughter at birth (1944). Loving father of Yvonne Hill, Pat (Glenn) Meadows, Debra Hill, Doug (Wendy) Hill, and father-in-law to Linda (Chamings) Gibbings. Cherished grandfather and great grandfather to Andrew (Sherri) Meadows and their children Josh and Matt Hill and Ava and Drew Meadows; Erin (Darin) Bean and their children Nathan, Sarah, and Owen; Lyndsay Meadows and Kirby Wheaton and their son Lukas; Kara MacKinnon, Jamie (Meghan) MacKinnon, Katie (Geoff) Danton and their children Rhylen, William, Wes, and Wyatt; Tyler Hill, Jason Hill, and Nicole Hill. Dear brother-in-law to Doris Murray and special uncle to Judy Woosnam. Predeceased by his parents James Sr. and Maud (Taylor) Hill, his siblings Hilda (John) Bent, Elizabeth (Jack) Jones, Jack (Jessie) Hill, and Leah (Russ) Woosnam, his in-laws Elmer (Dorothy) Murray, Art (Alice) Murray, Wilfred (Kay) Murray, Bill Murray, and Mildred (Gord) Pond. A private family burial will be taking place at Zion Hill 7th Line Cemetery. The family invites friends and relatives to join them for a memorial service that will be announced later this month.
