At the age of 96, James Woods passed away at St Mary’s hospital on Jan 9 2022 in his sleep of old age knowing he is loved and missed by many. Jim was born July 23 1925 in Glace Bay Nova Scotia. In 1953 he moved to Kitchener-Waterloo where he worked and started a family. He is predeceased by his wife and best friend Margaret (Peggy). Father of Suzanne Willems (Ron), Jim Woods Jr (Terri), Maureen Beggs (Ron) and Paul Woods (Linda). Grandfather (Poppa) of Megan (Brad), Ryan (Jessi), Laura (Max), Ally (Cory), Jen (Jamie), and Tyler (Jasmine). In 1990, Jim (Bush) retired from Epton.
He was a lifetime Leafs fan and avid Bluejays fan. Jim enjoyed camping and traveling. He was a hero to his family and many friends and relatives. Thanks to the frontline workers, staff at Henry Walser Funeral Home and all those involved in his care. No funeral plans at this time.
