Irénée Savoie
1938-2022
Irénée Savoie, 84, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at
the Foyer Saint-Antoine, on Friday July 8, 2022. He was married to
Jeannine (Bastarache) Savoie of Saint-Maurice. Born in Bouctouche, he
was the son of the late Theodore and the late Annie (Saulnier)
Savoie.
He will be sadly missed by his spouse, Jeannine, his daughter, Joanne
Savoie (Roger) of Scoudouc, his sons; Daniel of Saint-Antoine, Adrien
(Rose) of Bouctouche, his grandchildren; Rémi, Denis, Mathieu and
Mélanie. He also leaves to mourn his sister, Yvette Maillet
(Livain) of Bouctouche, his brothers; Clarence (Diana) of Doaktown,
Adelard (Bernadette) of Grande-Digue and several nieces and
nephews.
Irénée was predeceased by one son, René, one grandson,
Denis, three sisters; Jeanne, Yolande and Irene and one brother,
Léonard.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche, on Monday July 18, 2022 form1 to
3:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman
Catholic Church, Bouctouche, on Monday July 18, 2022 at 4:00pm.
