Irene Catherine Green (nee Aylward) passed peacefully away at home with her family by her side on April 27 at the age of 75.
Irene will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Sylvester; daughter Tina (Basil) and son Darren (Jackie); grandchildren: Amanda and Natasha (Colin); brothers: Gerald (Brenda), Dennis (Pearl), Gabriel, Herbert (Barb); sisters: Joan (Sherman), Gertrude, Daphne (Laurie), Marcella (Thomas), Margaret (Darren) and Sharon (Tom); brother-in-law: Ellis Green (Isabelle), sisters-in-law: Rosemarie (Frank) and Susie (Stan); nieces and nephews; extended family and a large circle of friends
Irene is predeceased by her parents Mary and Herbert Aylward, parents-in-law Henry and Mary Green, brothers Patrick, James and Gerard, sister Laura and brother-in-law Abraham.
Irene was a thoughtful, kind, caring and remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her greatest joys were her husband Sylvester, daughter Tina, son Darren and two grandchildren Amanda and Natasha. Irene welcomed everyone into her home with a gracious smile, warm heart and a hot cup of Tetley tea.

FAMILY ONLY Visitation at Oram’s Funeral Home in Dover on Friday April 29, 2022 from 2-4 pm.
PUBLIC Visitation at Oram’s Funeral Home in Dover on Saturday April 30, 2022 from 2-6 pm.
There will also be a visitation at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church on Sunday May 1, 2022.
Family has requested masks to be worn please.
