VINK, Hendrika Peacefully, and in the full knowledge that the Lord awaited her, our beloved Mom, Oma, and Great-Oma, Hendrika Vink (nee Hoftyzer), was called Home on June 27th, 2022, in her 84th year. Missed, but lovingly remembered by her children; John and his wife Ilse, Hetty and her husband Ralph, Harry and his wife Jacqueline, Andrew, and Catharine and her husband Vince. Dear Oma of Ben (Ashley), Sara, Rachel (Jeremy), Katherine, Tim, Rebecca, Nicole (Craig), Ryan (Aly), Ian (Laura), Thomas, Amy (Tim), Nathaniel (Ashley), Christian (Hayley), and Sarah. Adoring Great-Oma to Ava, Kaiden, Tripp, Brooks, Samuel, Caleb, Gerrit, Jayde, Tanner, Jacob, Luke, Hendrik, Markus, and Myra. Also remembered by her siblings Jo, Betsy, Frances (Joe), Anne (Hans), (Anne & Sid), Dianne, and Frank (Julia). Predeceased by her parents, John and Hendrika, her husband John, her brother Bert, her brothers-in-law Lammert, Bill, and John, and her grandson Darren.
Visitation will be held from Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 18 Fourth Ave, Trenton, ON, K8V 5N3, on Monday, July 4th, 2022 from 11:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
