Obituary
Gordon Wesley Scott passed away on August 26th, 2022 at the age of 67.
He is survived by his loving family; wife, Lynne; daughters, Courtney and Nicole; brother, Varl (Irene) Scott; nephew Elvin (Naoko) Scott; grandniece, Erin Scott as well as a large extended family.
Gord was born in Spirit River, Alberta, and grew up on the family farm in Belloy, Alberta. He moved to Kelowna in 1971 where he worked at various jobs, the last one being Crown Packaging where he worked for 30 years and made lifelong friends. He spent his retirement doing the things he loved: camping, fishing, family vacations to the hot springs, getting firewood and walking his loyal best friends Jackson & Beans. He was the prince of puns and we will miss his intelligent humor.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Everden Rust Funeral Services (1910 Windsor Road, Kelowna) on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This will be a casual come and go event to share memories of Gord with his family and friends.
