Vivacious, boisterous, loud, fun loving, charismatic, a man with a generous heart and an infectious laugh…
The Anton family, headed by Elke and Bob, are heartbroken to announce the sudden and unexpected death of their son, sibling and father Gordon Trevor. Gord was born in Kitchener on February 17, 1971 and died Friday September 2, 2022 in his home at the age of 51. Leaving behind his two best loves, his children Meghan and Colby as well as his dog Frankie. Also feeling deep grief are his older siblings Angie Schneider (George), Vera Holst (Bob), and Rob (Krista). Nieces and nephews include Melissa, Ashlie, Nikki, Candis, Matt, Madison and Brooke. Little bundles include Ginnie, Sean, Evie, Dorothy and Liam.
Gord was a full of life man that gave his heart and helped all. He loved the beach whether in Naples, Florida or Lake Huron, and enjoyed pool life as well. He was great at building; his own garage, tiki bar area, fixing and tinkering, woodworking, making furniture and toys. He also loved to paint. Gord owned his own concrete finishing company for many years and was well respected for his quality work with a great crew behind him. Gord worked for the City of Kitchener for over 26 years and will be missed by his many buddies. He loved outdoor life, best known for always wearing shorts and a t-shirt and flip flops no matter what the weather. But Gord’s main love of life was his children. You may join our family for visitation at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener on Thursday, September 8, 2022 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and his remains will be resting in his happy place. In lieu of flowers please donate to Make-A-Wish Canada (cards available at the funeral home, 519-749-8467). Thank you for your wishes during our grief.
