It is with profound sadness that the family of Gordon Ernest Coles announces his peaceful passing on December 24, 2022 at the age of 91 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Craig (Susan), Christine (Jim) and Brent (Kathleen), his six grandchildren; as well as relatives and friends. Gordon was born in Barrie Ontario and met the love of his life, Patricia (Nee Sandrock) through work in Kitchener. After many wonderful years in North Bay they return to Kitchener until Patricia’s passing in 2016, upon which he settled in Burlington. Gordon was an avid gardener and always grew tomatoes, even if it was just one plant in a pot. The family believes he is at peace with a vast and fertile field to tend to with his wife and son David. A private service will be held at the families request. Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333.
