Obituary of GLEN FADDEN
GLEN CLIFFORD BENJAMIN FADDEN
JULY 22, 1952 – JULY 22, 2022
Glen passed away July 22, 2022 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 70 years.
He was predeceased by his mom, dad and grandparents.
Glen is lovingly remembered by his wife Louise, children Shannon (Keith), Ashley (Johnny), Sarah and Elizabeth; stepdaughters Jacque (Rick) and Alyson (Shaun); grandchildren Caleb and Shelby; step-grandchildren Jeremy, Jordan, Jade and Teagan.
He also leaves his sisters Linda (Art), Joanne (Carrie), Patsy (Jim); brothers Barry (Wendy), Gary as well as extended family.
Glen and Louise met in 2007 and started their journey in life which included the love of music, fast cars, motorcycles and travel. They often spent time at the Royal George in Transcona listening to their favourite local bands and hanging out with great friends. Glen’s love of cars often took them to Gimli to watch the races or to many different car shows where he could dream up his next crazy build. However, it didn’t stop there because his love of motorcycles took over. His love for motorcycles and his rides with his buddies and Louise often took them to all their favourite local diners all over Manitoba. This started their passion of going to Sturgis and across the U.S. and Canada. When Glen wasn’t spending his time on the motorcycle or in the garage tinkering, he loved all the time he was able to spend with his girls and grandchildren. He would often say how proud of them he was for becoming a nurse, getting ones black belt, Caleb graduating and Shelby being the apple of his eye. With his new extended family he could talk cars and motorcycles, picking up Teagan on his motorcycle so she could brag to all her friends. His family meant everything to him and he was always bragging that he was a “Girl Dad.” They kept him laughing and smiling as he wouldn’t have it any other way.
In the last few years he has always kept a brave face on and everyone else came first. He was tough but always had the softest heart. Louise was his “wife without a license” but was so much more than that. Two families are blended as one because of Glen and the families love for him will keep his memory alive. He will be up there doing burn outs until we meet again. It’s not goodbye it is “see you later.”
The family especially thank the following homecare attendants, nurses, doctors and staff at Riverview; Dr. Ling and Dr. Van and his Respiratory Therapists Jennifer and Daniel.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de GLEN
