Beloved husband of Ineke Van der Beek (nee Van der Vegt). Father to Gerben and Marisa Van der Beek (Liam and Brielle), Arno and Rebecca Van der Beek, (Robyn and Brenna), Dinant and Korey Van der Beek. Son to Gijsbert Marius Emus (deceased) and Gijsje Cornelia Van der Beek (nee Van Dorp). Brother to Agien, Els (Hans), Trudy (Gerhard), Anita, Gerard (Eric), Wouter (Linda), Ronald (Jolanda). Brother-in-law to Emmy (Jacob), Jan (Ina), Evelien (Lubbert), Robbert (Corrie), Gusta (Roel).
Family and friends may visit at Maranatha Canadian Reformed Church, 600 Belsyde East, Fergus on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 10:30 am at church. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus.
