Geraldine’s Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Geraldine Margaret Anderson (nee Osmond) announces her peaceful passing on December 20th, 2022 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Geraldine was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Susie Osmond she was predeceased by her husband; Jack Anderson, daughters; Virginia and Connie Anderson, infant grandson; Jonathan Janes, brothers and sisters; Pearce and Joyce Osmond, Walter Osmond, Earl Osmond, Hilda Seymour, father and mother in-law; John and Emerline Anderson, brother in law; Charles (Lorena) Anderson, sisters in-law; Jesse Buttery and Nora Anderson.
She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her children; Susan (Calvin) Tapp, Janice (Sandy) Janes, Corwin (Martha) Anderson, Vincent Anderson and Sherie Anderson, her grandchildren; Jeremy, Samantha (Travis), Jasmine, Nakita (Brandon), Magan, Shardi (Jeffrey), Leslie (Nova Lee), great-grandchildren; Jayden, Hailey, Alie, Jaxson, Leah, Jayla, Brianna and Breighan.
She also leaves to mourn her brother; Carl (Donna) Osmond, sisters and brothers in-law; Dorothy Osmond, Phil Seymour, Lavina Osmond, Fred Buttery, Corwin Anderson, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Geraldine was an avid reader who enjoyed the world of words, reading anything and everything she could. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital for the kindness and compassion at this difficult time.
