Gerald Francis Power
With great sadness and broken hearts, we are announcing the passing of our father, Gerald Francis Power, at the age of 72 years, passed away peacefully on December 27th, 2022 at Carbonear General Hospital. Surrounded by his loving children.
Predeceased by his parents David and Ethel Power and his sisters Jean and Michelle(Shell).
Leaving to mourn all his family and friends, His children Gerald (Melita), Phillip (Cathy), David (Maria) and daughter Helena (Ian); His beloved grandchildren: Nathan, Abigail, Logan, Alyssa, Ciera, Arielle and Philip (poppy’s sunshine).
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave on Monday January 2nd, 2023 from 11am to 7pm.
Special thanks to Dr. Janes his doctor for over 35 years. Also special thanks to Dr. Howse at the Carbonear General Hospital for showing such love and compassion. Also, another special thank you to all the outstanding nurses at the Carbonear General Hospital, your love and care will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
As broken as we are, fly high dad. There is no more pain. We will picture you with all the beautiful horses and antique cars one could possibly imagine. And now in the arms of your mom and dad. Watch over us, I know you will be our angel looking down.
