Georgia Emma Misner
– age 92, of Centreville, passed away on Sunday, September
4, 2022, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born in West Glenmont,
she was a daughter of the late Trueman and Elizabeth (Frail)
Butler.
Georgia was a member
of the Centreville Good Neighbour Club and the 50+ Seniors Group. She
was also a longtime member of the Centreville Baptist Church and
Church Auxiliary.
She is survived by
daughter, Jocelyn (Terry Billard), Northport; sons, Barry, Scotts Bay;
Eugene « Gene » (Louise), Scotts Bay; Clarence
« Clarie » (Linda), Centreville; nine grandchildren;
several great-grandchildren and extended family.
She was predeceased by
her husband, Wesley; brothers, Glendon and Murray.
Visitation will be
held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, in the White
Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Thursday, September 8, 2022, in the Centreville Baptist Church,
Reverend Doctor Carol Anne Janzen officiating. For those unable to
attend, a video webcast of the service will be available at 11:00 a.m.
on Friday, September 9, 2022. Interment will be held in the Lakeview
Cemetery, Lakeville.
