Peacefully, at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Sunday, November 27th, 2022. George Nicholas Hebb at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Helen Dagandan, father of George Hebb (1959), Angela Jacklin, Geoffrey Hebb and Lenora Sambrooke and their mother Marlene (1984). George is survived by many nieces, nephews, his grandchildren and great grandson Rowen. Survived by his siblings, Helen Hebb, Elizabeth Bright, Fred Hebb and Charlene Langille. Predeceased by his parents George Bernard Hebb and Helga Christine Hebb (Andersen) and his siblings Lemuel Hebb, Alice Conroy and Hugh Hebb.
George was born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia on April 15, 1935. His life was truly an incredible one. He had a family that loved him and a career that was worthy of a book. From deep sea fishing to circus worker, Canadian Airforce to inventor, innovator to aircraft builder/designer, woodworker to fisheries observer, George made an incredible impact in the world.
A celebration of George’s life will take place at his home near Rodney in the future.
