Fred Williamson passed away peacefully November 19 surrounded by his family after a long journey with Parkinson’s Disease.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years and his mom Hilda who just celebrated her 102 birthday! Also left to cherish his memory are his four kids: Stuart (Sara), Ryan (Shannon), Kelvin (Cynthia) and Ange (Glenn). Their fun grandpa will also be missed by Mathew (Jenna), Austin (Megan), Bailey, Abby, Nate, Paige, Lily and Jack as well as great grandkids; Eli, Adley, and Isla. He will be missed by his brother in law Doug (Linda) and sisters in law Lynn, Wendy and Noreen and his siblings Bob, Stephen, Eric David and June.
Fred was born and raised on the family farm in Spallumcheen. Upon graduating he went on to become a journeyman carpenter with Tony Maddocks. Upon venturing out on his own under the name of Williamson Bros Construction, his achievements include a lot of houses here in Armstrong then onto the Esso Station, the new Firehall, and the revitalization of Armstrong and Enderby main streets before leaving town to build the Toll booths on the Coquihalla. Fred was also aware of organizations and kids who needed a little help and sponsored ball teams, Lacrosse and purchased 4 – H animals. Fred requested no service but to spread his ashes on his childhood farm in the spring.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Fred Williamson November 19th 2022..
