Obituary
Fred Koenig was born on March 11, 1951 to Clem and Madeline Koenig in Unity, Saskatchewan. In 1957 Fred moved to Grinrod, BC with his parents and his six siblings along with the Vetter family. He grew up in Enderby and was deeply rooted in his community. Fred and his wife Gail raised their family in Ashton Creek. Fred was a hard worker spending many years as a logger, turning his hobby into his new career as a mason until he retired. His rock work can be admired throughout the valley.
Fred loved spending time with his family and chilling with the grandkids. He enjoyed playing baseball for many years then became manager and a dedicated fan. He enjoyed back road tours, timber cruising and boat days. He made many memories with his friends at pool nights and his family shop parties.
