Franklin «Scott» Young
1967-2022
It is with immense sadness and broken hearts
the family of Franklin «Scott» Young, age 55, of
Aylesford, announce his untimely passing on Tuesday, September 6, 2022
as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Sydney, he was the
son of Gloria «Jean» Langille of Halifax and the
late Franklin Young.
Scott was a long-haul truck driver for many
years and loved being on the road. He had recently retired from
long-haul to spend more time with his family and drive as a courier
for Midland Transport.
In addition to Scott’s mother, he is
missed deeply by his wife, Sheila Mintis; daughter, Karen Young
(William Danick Alarie) of Saint-Jerome, QC; as well as many siblings,
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers and extended
family.
Scott’s family wants to extend their
sincere thanks of appreciation to Midland Transport for the
exceptional care and support that has been shown to them throughout
these difficult days.
Cremation has taken place and a private family
memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may
be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. On-line
