SEAMES, Frances Christene – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Frances at her home on Saturday, September 10th, 2022, in her 78th year. Frances was born in Nova Scotia and moved to Ontario in her teenage years. Loving daughter of the late Delmar and Jean Fraser. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Seames (2007). Dear mother to Rebecca «Becky» Verhage (Don) and Sean Seames (Paul). Devoted grandmother to James and Kate Verhage. Survived by her sister Anne Burnette (Barry). Predeceased by her siblings Doris Franklin and J.C. Fraser. Also remembered by her nieces and nephews. A private family gathering will be held in memory of Frances. Frances spent most of her adult life in Stirling and enjoyed being a part of her community, and spending time at her cottage with her family and friends and including «The Piggies». She especially loved every moment with her grandchildren. A special thanks goes out to the Home Care Support Staff for their exceptional care of Frances. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BGH Foundation or Aldersgate Development Fund would be appreciated by the family.
