Passed peacefully in her home in Peterborough, in her 86th year. Predeceased by the late husband Edward M. Monaghan, parents Raymond McNutt and Marjorie Pomeroy, brother Kenneth. Loving sister of Wiliam John (Linda), Everet.
Forever loved mother of predeceased son Dennis, daughters Linda (Evan), Darlene (Doug), Brenda (Terry) . She will be greatly missed by wonderful grandchildren Kyle, Demie, Nathan, Katrina, Shelley, Jonathan, Sarah and Cody. Lovingly enjoying all her great-grandchildren from near and far; Remington, Bennett, Hunter, River, Jayce, Jared, Jayla, Gregor and Liam.
Belonging to the Northview Community Church, her devotion to the Lord was unwavering and unending. She will be missed by her loving church. She worked hard all her life; G.E, Westcliff, Avon lady, Fanning, Kawartha Hospital Linen. All while raising her family, looking after the gardens with Dad for feeding the family. A country girl at heart, growing up on the farm in Warkworth. She loved traveling with others and just soaking up all that life had to offer. She didn’t wait for anyone to tell her to do something. She paid so much attention to detail in every aspect of her life. It was hard to keep up sometimes, but it was very important to her. Our games of crokinole will never be the same without her. Hiking around rocks and water were her favorite nature outings.
She always tried to instill in her family good values, life lessons, compassion and caring for all others. She embraced the opportunity in socializing with all her St. Giles apartment community. She would also never miss an opportunity in going out for lunches and breakfasts with the ladies. Mom will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. You are at peace and with your Lord now Mom.
