The death of Evan Roy Walsh of Miramichi, NB, occurred on July 3, 2022, at the age of 32. Born in Newcastle, NB, he is the son of Roy and Bettina (Bell) Walsh of Miramichi, NB. Evan graduated from MVHS and St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts with major in Political Science and was a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves North Shore Regiment. Evan worked at various jobs over the years including working at Bell’s Funeral Home alongside his father Roy.
Besides his parents, Evan is survived by maternal grandmother: Jeannie Bell; sister and best friend: Erin of Miramichi, NB and sister: Jamie Teed (Mark) of Moncton, NB; one niece: Molly Teed; great aunt: Dee Hubbard; uncles and aunts: Terry Walsh (Elsie), Bruce Bell (Rossy), Boyd Bell (Helen), Barb Jardine (Sandy), Brenda Waye (Michael), Bonnie Roy (Darrell), Beverly MacLean (Boyd), Brenda Walsh as well as many cousins.
Evan is predeceased by maternal grandfather: Sterling Bell and paternal grandparents: Joe and Doreen Walsh; uncle: Jack Walsh and aunt: Julie Whitney (John)
There will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 1 PM.
