Obituary
STEWART, Eugene “Gene” Ross – 75 of Allendale. The family is saddened to announce the passing of our father, brother and grandfather, which took place at Roseway Hospital on Thursday October 13th, 2022.
He was a son of the late Daniel “Doey” and Viola Kathleen Firth.
Gene enjoyed camping, driving his old cars & old ford truck, his old tractor, hunting, and four wheeling. He loved spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his children; Teresa (Ernie), Gina (Sid), Roddy (Cheryl), Amy (Dave), Jake (Paula) and Ingrid (Jamie), grandchildren; Timothy, Lisa, Lucas, Nicholas, Sydney, Tanner, Eric, and Ethan, brothers; Kayline and Danny, sisters; Kathleen (Richard), and Yvonne (James), many great-grandchildren & many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Gene was predeceased by his sisters; Betty Hersey, Ruth Oickle and his wife Rose Stewart.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 at Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Shelburne. A burial will take place following the service in the West Green Harbour cemetery. Donations in memory of Eugene may be made to the IWK Children’s Hospital.
