Obituary
Passed peacefully away while in the presence of her loving family, at the Health Science Centre, on Monday, July 4, 2022, Ethel Mary St. Croix (nee Tobin), of Gaskiers, St. Mary’s Bay, aged 73 years.
Predeceased by her husband John Crawley, father Moses Tobin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Peter, Reg, Chris, Ann Marie and Patricia, her aunt and best friend Evelyn, recently deceased uncle Gabriel Critch and all other aunts, uncles and relatives of the Tobin and Critch Families.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Shamus (Noreen), Ellen (Max), Michael (Marie) and Kayla (Adam); grandchildren: Gillian, Sherelle, Michael D., Fox, Lily, Conor, Chelsea and Jordon, mother Mary Ellen Tobin; siblings: Jerry, Tony, Ignatius (Kay), Doug (Linda), Derrick, Adrian (SherryLynn), Myra (Shawn), Myrtle (Richard), Louise and Lisa (Jeff); brothers-in-law: William (Helen) Crawley, Hubert Crawley and Ray Dobbin; sisters-in-law: Marie (James) St. Croix, Madelyn Crawley and Frances (Joe) Critch and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including her home support workers: Darlene, Joanne, Donna, Shannon and Linda, as well as Gloria and Gail.
A special thank you is extended doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Science Centre; especially staff of 4 South A and the H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and Dr. Power, Dr. Saldana and nurses Cathy and Angie, to Dr. Thomas McGarry, Todd and Staff of St. Mary’s Pharmacy, nurse Jaqueline and Gibbons’ Ambulance Service for all your care and support over the past few years during Mom’s illness. Also thank you to her many friends, too many to even name, who visited and kept in close contact.
