GREEN, Ethel Myrtle –
Passed away peacefully at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 17, 2022, Myrtle Green (nee Rutter) died at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Glendon Green for nearly 66 years. Predeceased by her parents Albert & Thelma Rutter (nee Clapp), and siblings Roy Rutter and May Spicer. Proud mother of Darlene of Oro-Medonte, Brian (Debbie) and Gary (Karen) all of Cherry Valley, and Sharon (Steve Sarley) of Bloomfield. Much loved grandma to Megan, Amanda, Nicholas, Kaylyn, Rachel, Dennis, Nicole, Curtis, Zack, Asa, Olivia and ten great-grandchildren.
Sincere thanks for the wonderful care from everyone at Prince Edward Family Health Team, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital and Bayshore Clinic for their care of Myrtle.
Mrs. Green rested at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery following cremation. A Celebration of Myrtle’s Life will be scheduled at a later date. If desired, donations to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
