Eloise Richard
1924-2022
Eloise Richard, 97, of Résidence Au Benaise, Saint-Antoine and
formerly of Saint-Paul, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her
family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on
Thursday September 8, 2022. She was married to the late Anselme
Richard (2016). Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late
Amédée and the late Emerise (LeBlanc) Breau.
Eloise loved quilting, knitting, fiddle music, camping in the woods of
Harcourt, travelling, playing cards with family and friends and mostly
spending time with family.
She will be sadly missed by her six children; Jeannine Perreault
(Bobby) of Hubbardston, MA, Raymond (Gloria) of Homosassa, Fl., Donald
(Claire), Patrick (Louise) of Gardner, MA, Robert (Diane) of
Winchendon, MA and Jean-Claude (Linda) of Missouri, sixteen
grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and seven great great
grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn two sisters; Viola Caissie,
Diane Bastarache of Dieppe, and five brothers; John (Noella) of
London, ON, Gerald (Helene) of Welland, ON, Léon and Emerie
(Marie) of London, ON, Robert of Saint-Antoine as well as several
nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by three sons; Léo-Paul, Paul and Antoine,
one sister; Jeanne as well as three brothers; Laurie, Joseph, and
Ulysse.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Paul-de-Kent Roman Catholic
Church on Wednesday September 14, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from
5:30 to 6:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church in
Saint-Paul on Wednesday September 14, 2022 at 7:00 pm with interment
in the parish cemetery.
In Eloise’s memory, donations may be made to the
Saint-Paul-de-Kent parish.
