Eleanora Catherine Murdoch of Miramichi passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at theMiramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 83. Eleanor was born in smith Alberta on March 31, 1939,daughter of the late Patrick and Eleanora (Foster) Graham.
Eleanor is survived by her son Robert Murdoch (Lynn McDonald) of Miramichi, and leaves behind numerous relatives in Alberta, many friends and co-workers in Hamilton, Ontario and recently friends in Miramichi. Thank you to Hospital staff, Social Development, Care workers and Extra-mural Nurses in Miramichi with special thanks to Wendy for her caring support when Eleanor was at home.
Besides her parents, Eleanora is predeceased by her husband, Robert Joseph Murdoch in 2001.
Eleanor was a Childhood Educator at Sisters of Saint John the Baptist, Infant Jesus Kindergarten and Nursery School, Hamilton Ontario. She enjoyed painting watercolour, reading, crafts and nature walks.
Cremation has taken place and Interment will be held in Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster, Ontario at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy in Eleanora’s memory donations may be made to St. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church Fund in Bartibogue Bridge or to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
