It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Eileen Murphy of Marystown formerly of Parker’s Cove announces her passing. Eileen passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on Sunda, December 18th, 2022, at the age of 78.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Trevor Murphy (Joanne Walsh) of Marystown and Travis Murphy (Kimberly Strugnell) of Spruce Grove, AB; daughters, Cavelle Murphy (Steve Sentner) of Emyvale, PEI, Nicole Murphy (Colin Rowe) of St. John’s and Saralynn Murphy (Mark Smith) of Marystown; 6 grandchildren, Gabbie, Regan, Bradyn, Leah, Ryan and James; sisters, Bernice Vaters (Larry) of Parker’s Cove and Agatha Brushett (John) of Parker’s Cove; brothers, Aloysius Murphy (Phyllis) of Parker’s Cove, Eugene Murphy (Elizabeth) of Parker’s Cove, Clayton Murphy (Betty) of Parker’s Cove, Harold Murphy (Elizabeth) of Parker’s Cove, Calvin Murphy (Sadie) of Parker’s Cove, Jerry Murphy (Gladys) of Parker’s Cove, Denis Murphy of Parker’s Cove and Daryl Murphy (Melinda) of Ontario; plus a large circle of family and friends.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband, James Murphy; parents, Melinda & Pius Murphy; parents-in-law, Sarah & Frank Murphy; sister, Rita Murphy; and sister-in-law, Dolorosa Murphy.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on Friday, December 23rd, 2022 at 10:30 am.
Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Marystown.
In Eileen’s memory, donations may be made to to the Parker’s Cove Community Service Organization (EMT – council@eastlink.ca) or to the family to pass along to the Organization. Flowers gratefully accepted.
