Edward William Fankhanel of Edmonton, AB, formerly of Heisler, AB, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the age of 74 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Amber of Calgary, and Miranda of Ontario; and siblings Leo Fankhanel of Edmonton, Ann (Hari) Narayan of Stony Plain, Lucy (Don) Bieganek of Edmonton, John (Kenje) Fankhanel of Beaumont, Mary (Norm) Twitchell of Edmonton, Betty (Ken) Mourits of Calmar, Donna Fuechtman of St. Albert, Pat (Dave) Kopus of Bashaw, Richard (Gladys) Fankhanel of Calgary, and Jim (Ardis) Fankhanel of Edmonton.
Edward was predeceased by his son Michael; parents Francis and Rika; and sister Marg.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the St. Martin Roman Catholic Church in Heisler, AB with Fr. Danial DSouza as the celebrant.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Edward’s memory may be made to the Hope Mission.
