Edward Trainor
January 9, 1945 – September 20, 2022
Passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Hospital after a brief illness on Tuesday, Sep. 20, 2022, Aged 77 years. He was born on January 9, 1945.
Predeceased by parents: William and Catherine (Walsh) Trainor for whom he provided compassionate care during their illnesses; sisters: Janet (Steve) Brophy, Theresa (Raymond) Coombs and brother: William Trainor; Special aunt Elizabeth (Martin) Walsh, sister-in-law Olive Trainor.
Leaving to mourn brothers: John (Lori), Gerard (Robertha), Terry (Colleen) and David (Agnes); sisters: Barbara (Ned) Reddy, Madeline (Ray) Cole, Mary Wight, Paula (Tom) Young, Carmella and sister-in-law, Faye Trainor, and incredibly special nieces; Jennifer, and Cara. Many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a circle of cousins and friends who were a part of his life are greatly appreciated.
A special thank you to his caregivers, Diane (Gerry) Conway, Georgina Walsh, and Jill Walsh; Special friends: Eugene (Evie) Brothers and Pat (Betty) Aylward for their kindness and generous spirit throughout their time together and to all the generous people of the Cove who reached out to him many times.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff at 4 West, the ICU, 7 West and doctors Peter and Anne Gregory, Michael Jakovac and Emily Rowsell for their excellent care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A spreading of ashes and a celebration of life will take place in the coming days in the Cove.
And may there be no moaning of the bar
