It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, Edna Crocker on Monday, September 19th, 2022, at the age of 89.
Predeceased by her loving husband Herbert Crocker, parents James and Lillian Piercey, sisters Myrtle Frampton and Jean O’Leary and brothers Gerald Piercey and Ralph Piercey.
Leaving to morn with fond and loving memories her daughters Lillie (Bill), Annie (Hayward), Joan (Tom), Sylvia (Don), Elaine (Brian) and cherished eight grandchildren Darryl, Blair (Abby), Bradley (Ashley), Ashley (Greg), Adam, Amy (Ryan), Mitchell (Katie) and Ben. Ten great grandchildren Jordyn, Logan, Caylin, Matix, Aubree, Vivienne, Jace, Brynn, Nora and Remi. Three sisters Marg Penney, Sylvia Peddle(Bill), Lorna George (Dave). One brother, Melvin Piercey (Emma).
She will be remembered by family and friends for her kind-heartedness, hospitality and the Saturday night gatherings at her house for good chats, great laughs, hand of cards, and a social drink. While we mourn the loss of a beautiful women, we are blessed to have the memories that will bring smiles and laughs to us forever.
Family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at the Health Sciences Centre and the staff at Glenbrook Lodge, 105 Torbay Rd., St. John’s.
Visitation will take place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Heart’s Content on Wednesday, September 21th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. The service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Heart’s Content on Thursday, September 22th at 2:00pm. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Greens Funeral Home, Winterton.
