We are sad to announce the passing of Doug McLaren. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 40 years, Ann Meuser, his children Sarah (Justin), Rob and Jen, and granddaughter June. Doug defied the odds for years but eventually succumbed to his disease and died at the age of 77.
Doug had a long career as an engineer in the aerospace field, working for SPAR and MDA. A devoted family man, he loved spending time with his children and granddaughter. He was particularly interested in photography. There are many memorable photographs of family events. He also loved his time at the cottage with family and friends. He was a kind and gentle man.
