Donna McDonald

Donna McDonald nee (Dickie), passed away on Oct.24, 2022. Donna was born in Sudbury on Feb 29 1936. Given her leap year origin she was always able to stay young at heart. She grew up in Sudbury and moved to Espanola with her husband Wilfred McDonald to be teachers at Espanola High School. They have two children Fraser (Jana) and Amy (Dan). They have 5 grandchildren, Liam, Alyssa, Dylan, Rowan and Graham. Donna was the United Church Secretary for many years as well as proofreader at the Around and About. She was an avid lover of curling, cryptic crosswords and walking the landscape around her home on Old Webbwood Road. Visitation will be at Bourcier Funeral Home from 6-8pm Oct.27th and Funeral Mass at 10am Oct. 28th in the United Church with interment to follow in the Webbwood Protestant Cemetery.
