Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Friday, November 11, 2022 in her 76th year.
Loving wife and best friend of Harry Allan Brooks.
Dear and loving mother of Tania Fleming, Kimberly Owens and Rhonda Mongeon (Paul). Dear step-mother to Nancy Little (Frank), Mark Brooks (Lisa), Chrissy Brooks and Gerald Cormier (Jennifer).
Cherished grandmother and step-grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother
of 2.
Missed by her sisters Anne Jefford (Art) and Colleen Rivers (the late Don). Predeceased by siblings Carol Hogarth, Donald Hogarth, Lori Van Gerven (John), Mary Lou Bacon (the late Robert) and Patty Hetherington (the late Robert).
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the care and compassion Donna received while at the Welland Hospital.
In her early days Donna served in the Royal Canadian Navy. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her growing family. Donna was known as the baby whisperer as her snuggles comforted little ones into dreamland. Donna will be remembered for her infectious laughter especially around the dinner table.
