It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Arthur Bell, on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Bluewater Health, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Jeanne for 53 loving years. Loving father of Jim Bell, Vicki (Jeff) Shaw, and daughter-in-law Rachel. Remembered by his god-daughter Christine Bell. Cherished grandfather of Colton, Britney, Justin, Brayden, Ashley, Keegan and great-grandfather of Rilee, Aiden and Keian. Dear brother of Gary (Linda) and Mike (Barb) (Rhonda) Bell, and Kelly Bell. Missed by close friends Dave Denley and Dave Curtis. Predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Catherine Bell. Donald was a fixture at many arenas and gyms supporting his grandchildren’s sports. His biggest joy was his grandchildren. In his younger years, he was successful in the curling world and made it to the Sarnia Lambton Sports Hall of Fame. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family wishes to thank the March of Dimes and the 4th floor at Bluewater Health Med G for their care and support of Donald. Cremation has taken place. All are welcomed to a graveside service at Resurrection Cemetery, 1885 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia Minor Lacrosse Association (cheques only at the funeral home please).
