Obituary
Dawnis was a fun-loving, outgoing, caring kokum, mother, daughter and sister. She was a very understanding person, who liked being around her family , and many friends. She was a very likable person who attracted friends everywhere she went. She loved cooking bannock with her grandkids, and making soup for everyone.
She was predeceased by: her twins; her father, Louis Oakes: her maternal grandparents, Peter and Mabel Bear; and her grandchild.
Dawnis leaves to mourn: her mother, Edna Bear; her brothers, David, Louis (Amber), James (Amanda), Chassidy (Tori); her sisters, Jaimie, Fern, and Precious; her children, Denayah Oakes, Aaron Kieth, Kirsten Bear, Hunter Bear, Kierah Oakes, Alex Angus, and Bryson; her grandchildren, Maya, Mason, Teagan and Tara; and numerous nieces and nephews.
