David was born on November 9, 1929 in Rottingdean, Sus, England. He came to Canada in 1951 where he worked for CIBC and joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1954. David served on the HMCS Ontario for 5 years. He sailed around the world with the navy.
He married his wife Nora in Victoria, British Columbia on April 6, 1957. David and Nora moved to Prince George, British Columbia where he worked for the province of BC and later the city of Prince George. David and Nora moved to Okotoks, Alberta in 2003 to be closer to family. David passed away peacefully at High River Long Term Care on November 15, 2022.
David enjoyed model railroading, as well as listening to the military bands of the Royal Regiments.
David is survived by his wife of 65 years Nora, daughters Jennifer (Brad), Ann (Colin), grandchildren Brandon, Jenna (Cam), Nathan, Aron and Morgan
