Passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday,October 5, 2022 in his 68th year.
Loving father of Jason (Stephanie) and Kris. Cherished grandfather of Rown, Mya and Gage.
Forever loved by his mother Geraldine Chiki and predeceased by his father Orley Sourwine (2011).
Dear brother of Dean Sourwine and Robin Zavitz (Craig).
David’s passion for trains came at an early age. He began working on the rail road in the late 1970’s. He was a proud graduate of the Gimli Manitoba Engineering course in 1988 and worked for CN Rail for over 39 years.
Family and friends will be received at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Tuesday, October 11th from 2 – 4:00 pm. In keeping with David’s wishes there will be no funeral service. The family will gather at Zion Cemetery for a private interment on a later date.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Pathstone Mental Health Foundation.
