Obituary
Nickerson, David Nathan– 74, of Shag Harbour, passed away at Roseway Hospital on September 9, 2022. Born on October 10, 1947 he was a son of the late George and Dorothy Nickerson. David loved his family dearly and the devotion he showed to his late wife, Roselin went above and beyond. He worked several years for W Sears Sea Food. David was also known to be a jack of all trades and was always there to lend his carpentry skills to anyone who needed him. He loved spending time on the Davis River trouting with friends and family. David was a very kind and simple man, who always put others before himself, he had a one of a kind personality, sense of humour and loved to tell jokes and talked to just about anyone. He is survived by his son, Clardon; daughter, Maryanne (Dana); grandchildren, Meagen, Mariah and Ryan-leigh; great-grandchildren, Broghen, Gaven, Lincoln and Falisha; sisters, Carolyn and Debbie; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his loving wife, Roselin; infant son, Curtis; sisters, Glenora, Elsie and Margaret; brothers, Dougie and George. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. In keeping with David’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a late date. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or any charity of choice.
