Obituary for the late David Donald Pomeroy
October 18, 1950 – July 7, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Donald Pomeroy announce His unexpected passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, on July 7, 2022, at the age of 71 years.
Predeceased by his father (Raymond Pomeroy), Son (David Shugarue), stepson (Kerry Hoven) and brother-in-law (Derrick Godwin).
Left with fond and loving memories are his Partner of 32 years, Maureen Hoven, daughter Brittany Jacobs, son-in-law (Trevor Jacobs), and 2 grandchildren Charlotte and Charlie Jacobs.
Also leaving to mourn, His mother (Myrtice Pomeroy), Bruce Pomeroy (Angela), Neville Pomeroy (Mabel), Sharon Godwin, Edna Pomeroy, and Pansy McMillan (John).
As per family wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ryan Peddle of Fogo Island Funeral Home.
