Obituary of Daniel Grey
Daniel Grey of Islandview, NB went home to be with his Saviour on December 14, 2022. Born in Fredericton on April 13, 1953, Danny was predeceased by his parents Harold and Mary (Finnie), stepmother Margaret Grey and brothers Gordon and Brian. He is survived by several cousins and his “second” family; stepbrothers Gary Jones (Susan Epton), Peter Jones (Jennifer), and stepsisters Sheree Dickinson (Dennis) and Dawn Cumberland (Rod) and their families.
Danny attended the Murray F. Humes School in Fredericton. He was involved with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets and worked for Jobs Unlimited. When able, he attended Devon Park Baptist Church.
With the heart of a child, Danny loved watching cartoons, the traffic, building lego and “taking off” and “landing” his model airplanes. Most of all, he enjoyed holding your hand and telling you stories, especially of the travel trailer he was saving up to buy. “Rrrright on” Danny! We are comforted by knowing that you are healthy and whole with Jesus in heaven.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Swanhaven Adult Residential Facility and Eden’s Manor for their wonderful care of Danny. A special thank you to Patrick.
A graveside burial will take place in the spring.
