It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Danny, age 63, on Sunday, August 21st, 2022 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines on April 11, 1959, Danny was the son of the late Colin and Lorraine Fortune. Danny worked out west for many years. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that asked.
Danny is survived by son Lincoln Bradley (Rosalee) who he was very proud of. He is also survived by siblings Adeline (Carl), Ada (Lyndon), Deborah (Michael, Colin (Brenda), John Thomas, Kenny and Frankie {Sherry)and Valerie, the mother of his son, many nieces and nephews, also brothers-in- law Stuart MacDonald and Jackie Johnston and many friends.
Besides his parents, Danny was predeceased by his beloved sisters Linda MacDonald and Colleen Johnston.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on floor 4D, for making sure Danny was comfortable on his final journey home.
At Danny’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.
