Dale Weslowski passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the age of 83. Although he will be dearly missed, we know he is in his forever home in Heaven. Dale is lovingly remembered by his children Jeff (Susie) Weslowski, Leanne (Neil) Paskiw; grandchildren Emily, Leila, Kate, and Jane; and his best friend and partner, Eliana Peralta. He is also survived by his sister Joyce (John) Tuchelt; sister-in-law Vera Ellerby; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dale was predeceased by his wife of 29 years, Rosalie Weslowski; parents Herman and Elsie Weslowski; and sister Alda (Howard) Rutten.
Dale, born May 7, 1939, in Regina, grew up on the family farm near Davin, SK. He attended high school and played football at Luther College, followed by studying engineering for two years at the University of Saskatchewan. Dale worked for the Saskatchewan Water Corporation for 27 years as a draftsman on many projects, including the Diefenbaker Dam. He also worked as a custodian at Christ Lutheran Church in Regina. Dale’s family was his pride and joy, and he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his partner, Eliana. He was an avid fisherman and storyteller and always welcomed the occasion for good food and conversation. He enjoyed summer trips to northern Manitoba, meeting church friends at a regular men’s breakfast, and of course, devotedly following the Roughriders.
A Celebration of Dale’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2022, at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK. Donations in Dale’s memory may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
