Scott (Holland), Daisy Winnifred
August 20, 1919 – September 3, 2022
Passed away peacefully at the LHSC University Hospital in London, Ontario at the age of 103. Daisy was the beloved wife of the late Phillip Holland and the late Robert Scott. Caring and loving mother of Patricia (late Wayne Wheeler), Peter (Jean), Jim (Sharon), Mary Lou (Harold Stewart), Ted (Lois) and the late Rob (Lorraine). Her eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren would bring a smile and sparkle in her eye, that will be cherished as a loving and caring Nanny to all. Daisy lived a full and active life as a Registered Nurse, raising a family of six children, working alongside Phil at the garage. Daisy always believed nature was filled with so much beauty, wisdom, and it would always uplift your spirits and open a path with happiness and peace, a message she shared in her poetry. Her creative talents were expressed in many ways in her drawings and sketches. Our family is so blessed to have a Mother, Mother-in-Law, Nanny in our lives who was so inspirational to all who knew and loved her. Friends are invited to join the family at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10 a.m. for the Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Daisy’s memory to your local food bank would be appreciated by the family.
