Christena Anderson
1930-2022
Christena Margaret Anderson, age 92, of Valley View Villa,
formerly of Green’s Point, passed away Saturday, July 23,
2022, in the Villa. Born in Pictou Landing, she was a daughter of the
late Joseph and Elta (Currie) Ouellette. She was retired from Michelin
Tire and was a former employee of Bagnell’s Dry Cleaners.
She was a member of the Michelin Retirees Club, bowling team and
member of the former Calvary Temple. She is survived by a daughter,
Betty (Ernie) MacInnis, Trenton; daughter-in-law, Linda Anderson, New
Glasgow; grandchildren: Christopher (April) MacInnis; Ernie (Kim)
MacInnis; Michael MacInnis; Sandi Fraser; Jason (Sheri) Anderson;
Terry (Anna) Anderson; Jamie (Sarah) Anderson; Johnathan (Amanda)
Anderson; numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her
husband, John; son, John; daughter, Louise; great-grandson, Austin; 5
brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday in the R.H.
Porter Funeral Home, 73 High Street, Trenton. Funeral 11 am Wednesday,
in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton, with Mr. Fergie MacKay
officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery. Donations in her memory may
be made to the Huntington
Society of Canada, 20 Erb St. W, Suite 801, Waterloo, ON,
