With a life well lived and many memories to treasure, the family of Catherine Smith announces her peaceful passing at the Bonnyville Extendicare on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the age 103 years.
Catherine is lovingly survived by her children: Jean (Don) Mottershead of Quadra Island, BC, MacK (Diane) Smith, Sid (Shirley) Smith, Richard (Janet) Smith all of Bonnyville, AB; grandchildren: Heather Hebert, Kim Smith (Brad Cabay), Danielle Smith, Denise (Tom) Charawich, Terry (Marci) Smith, Douglas (Tanya Hodgkin) Smith, Jeff (Iva Cheung) Mottershead, LeeAnn (Vern) Vachon, Blair Mottershead; great grandchildren: Samantha Smith (Cody Johnston), Kyd (Mallory) Smith, Mikayla Weeks, Arcana Shanks, Jayden Weeks, Anson Smith, Halle Hebert, Amy Parenteau, Dylan Hebert, Macie Parenteau, Brooklyn Vachon, Devlin Cheung Mottershead, Jerzey Vachon; great-great grandchildren: Kaylee Mare, Tessa Smith, Leah Smith.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband: Dan Smith (2006); parents: William Ross (1963) & Helen Ross (1968); sister: Vivian White (2006); brother: Donald Ross (1994) twin brother: Alex Ross (2009).
A Celebration of Catherine’s life will be held at the Eastbourne Community Hall on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 11:30 a.m.
