Catherine Janet Holling wife of the late Neil Robert Holling of Tabusintac Nursing Home, formerly of Church River Road, Burnt Church passed away Friday December 16, 2022 at her late residence, at the age of 86.
Born in Burnt Church NB, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Davidson) Cassidy. She was a retired cashier and a member of St. Andrew’s United Church.
She is survived by one daughter Susan Saunders (Terry) of Mississauga ON, two sons; Larry (Brenda) of Bonaire and Shawn of Strathmore AB, two sisters; Elsie Stefanyk (Edward) of Burnt Church and Margaret Mcleod (Robert) of Burnt Church, her daughter-in-law Maureen Holling of Kelowna BC, ten grandchildren; Tracy, Lisa, Tamara, Brenton, Megan, Liam, Kaylie, Hannah, Kieran and Benita, two great-grandchildren Tyler and Dylan.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one son Gary Holling and two brothers Lorne and Royce Cassidy.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at Burnt Church Union Cemetery at a later date.
