Obituary
We are beyond saddened to announce Cathy’s passing on December 8, 2022 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital at the age of 76.
Cathy was the true definition of a “family person”. She always went above and beyond for them and anyone else. She loved a good “yarn”, Elvis and Christmas. She really was Mrs. Claus. Cathy was an amazing cook and baker, especially known for the “best” mincemeat pie that will be sorely missed. Although she was a private person her door was always open and if you needed anything Cathy was there. A warm, loving, generous and kind hearted soul, who was nothing but giving.
She married the lover of her life Frank Townsend and together they built a life and raised two sons. In earlier days, Frank and Cathy loved to bowl, travel and enjoy making memories with their grandkids.
Survived by husband of 58 years Frank, sons; Frank (Terry). Fabian (Tanya), grandchildren; Taylor, Tesla, Tanner, step granddaughter, Erica, great-grandson, Nolan,
Siblings; Cynthia (Nester), Becky (Walter), Edward (Carol), Tommy (Lucy), Anne (Richard), Leslie (Alberta), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Les & Mary (Skinner) Morash.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport. Visitation will take place on Tuesday December 13th from 6-8 pm from the Harbour Light Pentecostal Church, East Green Harbour. A Funeral service will take place from Harbour Light Church, East Green Harbour on Wednesday December 14th @ 2:00 pm. Burial will follow the service in the Harbour Light Cemetery, East Green Harbour.
